UNESCO Creativity and Cultural Awareness training for Libyans


This training is meant as youth and ToT for adults / professionals working with the Department of Antiquities, national NGOs and cultural associations, with the view to develop extra curricula education and cultural healing activities especially involving IDPs’ children and youth hosted in public buildings and schools in Libya.

Through this first workshop, 22 trainees were coached by 2 tutors/artists from AFCA for Arts and Culture on storytelling through THEATER, storytelling through MUSIC, Choir, collective writing and basics of arts management and arts education.


One week of training to archaeologists, actors, writers, students and researchers in the Libyan heritage through theater, storytelling, collective writing, singing and improvisation based on personal stories and inspired by tangible and intangible heritage in Libya.
