When the mouse finds itself trapped with the king of the jungle, “the lion”, he offers to entertain the lion with tales of the animals living around, the animals come alive in the performance by live sand art illustrations accompanied by live music. the performance premiered at the French Institute in Egypt, Alexandria to a full house of francophone school students.
2021 marked the fourth centennial birthday anniversary of the legendary French poet Jean de la Fontaine and to mark this occasion AFCA with the support of the French Institute in Egypt, Alexandria, produced a storytelling performance based on the tales of Jean de la Fontaine that have inspired generations upon generation since it was first published in 1668!
