Performing Arts application form
Egyptian Focus program – Hakawy International Arts Festival for Children
The call is open to performing arts professional companies and artists offering indoor and outdoor productions (theater, dance, music, puppetry, arts installations etc.), aimed to the family, children and young audiences.
Submissions may be small, medium or large format with varying capacity and can combine various artistic genres. Productions suitable for neurodivergent children and children with special needs are highly encouraged to participate.
Terms of Participation:
-You must be an Egyptian or Egypt-based artist/company (No legal structure is required)
– The productions must not exceed 60 minutes.
– Productions must be appropriate for children and youth aged 0-18 years old.
– Only submissions of production that premiered already and didn’t participate in an older edition of Hakawy Festival are eligible
-Productions still in production are not eligible to apply
– Selected companies and artists must be available to perform during the festival dates 30 th of November till – 16th of December 2023
– Must send a full length video of the performance – if full video is not available, the company must schedule a preview for the selection committee.
Technical Requirements
Must send the technical rider along with the application, Hakawy Festival will assist with the necessary technical setup of the productions with coordination of the venues of the festival, as mentioned in the sent technical rider, any prompt change of the technical rider is not of responsibility of the festival.
The festival will provide financial support to be disclosed with the selected companies/artists and accommodate companies/artists residing in different governorates of the festivals locations.
Only complete applications will be considered, any incomplete applications will not be evaluated by the selection committee.
The selection committee will inform by email all the companies submitted, whether or not their proposal has been selected, at the end of September .

إستمارة تقديم العروض الأدائية
البرنامج المصرى – مهرجان حكاوى الدولى لفنون الطفل
باب التقديم مفتوح للفنانين المحترفين و الفرق من مختلف الفنون الأدائية من لديهم عروض أدائية (مسرح ، رقص ، موسيقى ، عرائس ، مجسمات فنية ، إلخ) التي تستهدف الأسرة والأطفال واليافعين .
يمكن للعروض صغيرة أو متوسطة أو كبيرة الإنتاج ذات سعة جمهور متفاوتة و تجمع بين أنواع فنية مختلفة المشاركة. نشجع العروض الملائمة للأطفال على طيف التوحد والأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة على المشاركة .
:شروط المشاركة
يجب أن تكون فنان/ة أو فرقة مصري/ية أو مقيم/ة في مصر لا يلزم وجود هيكل قانوني للفرقة–
يجب ألا تتجاوز مدة العرض ٦٠ دقيقة-
يجب أن تكون العروض مناسبة للأطفال والشباب الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين٠ و ١٨ عامًا.-
يسمح فقط بالعروض التى سبق عرضها من قبل و لم تشارك في دورة سابقة من مهرجان حكاوي-
لن يقُبل بعروض مازالت في قيد التنفيذ –
يجب على الفرق والفنانين المختارين أن يكونوا متاحيين للعرض خلال فترة المهرجان من ٣٠ نوفمبر و حتى ١٦ ديسمبر-
يجب إرسال مقطع فيديو كامل للعرض- في حالة عدم توفر مقطع فيديو كامل ، يجب على الفرقة تحديد موعد لعرض مسبق للجنة التحكيم-
المتطلبات التقنية
يجب إرسال الملحق التقني مع إستمارة التقديم ، سيوفر مهرجان حكاوي المتطلبات التقنية اللازمة للعرض بالتنسيق مع أماكن العروض كما هو مذكور في الملحق التقني المرسل ، وأي تغيير تقني مفاجئ ليس من مسؤولية المهرجان
سيقدم المهرجان الدعم المالي و يتم مناقشته الفرق / الفنانين المختارين وسيوفر المهرجان فرص إقامة للفرق / الفنانين المقيمين في مختلف المحافظات خارج نطاق المهرجان.
سيتم النظر في الطلبات الكاملة فقط ، ولن يتم تقييم أي طلبات غير مكتملة من قبل لجنة الاختيار ،ستبلغ لجنة الاختيار عبر البريد الإلكتروني جميع الفرق و الفنانين المُرسل طلباتهم ، سواء تم اختيار عرضهم أم لا ، في نهاية سبتمبر
