AFCA Arts Center opens the call for volunteers to join the 13^th edition of Hakawy International Arts Festival for Children that will take place from 30^th of November till the 16th of December. Volunteers from Cairo, Portsaid & Al Ismailia are encouraged to apply.

Every year, we are happy to welcome volunteers to be part of AFCA’s team. The volunteers gets to partake in a variety of tasks and duties related to various operational aspects of the Festival , ranging from stage management, marketing, media and a multitude of other tasks required to make this event successful.

Volunteers are divided into different teams such as front of the house, production, marketing & media, Artists Liaison, PR & Press. Each of these teams are led by one of AFCA’s organizational teams.

Front of the house

• help managing the venues
• ushering audiences into the venues and seating areas
• manage the ticketing on doors
• help audiences map out the festival and answer their inquiries on the festival program, on-site

Artists Liaison

• key contact person for the artist
• coordinate the artist’s visit and logistics during their stay
• welcoming and dropping off the artists

Marketing & Media

• assist in social media
• assist in graphic design
• photography
• videography & Video editing

Pr & Press

• liasing with the press and media delegates under the supervision of the PR officer
• schedule press and media interviews during the festival

Production

• help setting up and dismantling performances setups
• help with the stage management
• source materials needed for the setup

We will try our best to have you in the team of your choice, but please note that the final decision is up to the organizational team to allocate members in certain teams where they are needed more, Volunteers will be placed according to skills, availability and experience.

Participation Guidelines:

A minimum age of 18 years old
• Availability for the festival’s period (from 9am to 6pm)
• Committed and respects time.
• Following a strict code of ethics and conduct
• Motivated team player

Note: that accepted applicants will be contacted mid october for an online interview. & assigned teams will be announced early November.

Please note that this is not a paid opportunity, however there will be a per diem & a signed certificate of appreciation from AFCA Arts Center

يفتح مركز أفكا للفنون دعوة للمتطوعين للانضمام إلى الدورة الثالثة عشرة لمهرجان حكاوي الدولي لفنون الأطفال الذي سيقام في الفترة من 30 نوفمبر و حتى 16 ديسمبر. نشجع المتطوعين من القاهرة و بورسعيد و الاسماعيلية على التقديم.

في كل عام، يسعدنا أن نرحب بالمتطوعين ليكونوا جزءًا أساسي من فريق المهرجان و أفكا، الجهة المنظمة للمهرجان. خلال فترة المهرجان سيتمكن المتطوعون من المشاركة في مجموعة متنوعة من المهام والواجبات المتعلقة بالجوانب الادارية المختلفة للمهرجان، بدءًا من إدارة المسرح والتسويق والإعلام والعديد من المهام الأخرى المطلوبة.

ينقسم المتطوعون إلى فرق مختلفة مثل فريق الإستقبال و الإستعلام، الإنتاج و اللوجستيات ، التسويق والإعلام ،فريق متابعة الفنانين، العلاقات العامة والصحافة. يقود كل فريق من هذه الفرق أحد أفراد الفريق الإداري لأفكا .

متابعة الفنانين

يعد الرابط الأساسي للتواصل مع الفنانين خلال إقامتهم.

الإنتاج و اللوجستيات 

المساعدة في تركيب وتفكيك الديكور المسرحي

المساعدة في إدارة المسرح

شراء الموارد اللزمة لأى من الأغراض الإنتاجية أو اللوجستية

سنبذل قصارى جهدنا لضمك إلى الفريق الذي قمت باختياره، ولكن يرجى ملاحظة أن القرار النهائي متروك للفريق التنظيمي لتخصيص أعضاء في فرق معينة حيث تكون هناك حاجة إليهم أكثر، وسيتم التنظيم المتطوعين وفقًا للمهارات والتوافر والوقت. خبرة.

إرشادات المشاركة:

الحد الأدنى للعمر:  18 سنة

التواجد خلال فترة المهرجان (من الساعة 9 صباحاً حتى الساعة 6 مساءً)

ملتزم بالمواعيد المعلنة و الحضور .

يمكنه العمل بشكل تعاوني ضمن فريق 

ملحوظة: سيتم الاتصال بالمتقدمين المقبولين في منتصف أكتوبر لإجراء مقابلة عبر زووم . وسيتم الإعلان عن الفرق المعنية في أوائل نوفمبر.

يرجى ملاحظة أن هذه ليست فرصة مدفوعة الأجر، ولكن سيكون هناك بدل يومي وشهادة تقدير موقعة من مركز أفكا للفنون عن المشاركة خلال المهرجان.
