Hakawy International Arts Festival for Children invites Egyptian artists /performers/ filmmakers to apply for the Egyptian focus program of the 13th edition of Hakawy International Arts Festival for Children from the 30th of November – 16th of December 2023

Performing arts productions (Music, Object Theater, Storytelling, Puppetry, Contemporary dance, etc), Arts Installations, Short and Animation films aimed for young audiences aged 0-18 years  across Egypt are welcome to apply. Productions and films that are suitable for neurodivergent children and children with special needs are highly encouraged to participate. 

This project is funded by the European Union in Egypt in Collaboration with EUNIC Egypt.

يدعو مهرجان حكاوى الدولى لفنون الطفل الفنانين وصناع الأفلام المصريين للتقدم للبرنامج المصرى جزء من الدورة الثالثة عشر من المهرجان المقرر إقامتها فى الفترة من ٣٠ نوفمبر و حتى ١٦ ديسمبر ٢٠٢٣

نرحب بتقديم عروض الفنون الأدائية بمختلف فروعها ( الموسيقى ،المسرح، الرقص، تحريك العرائس، إلخ) و المجسمات و التشكيلات الفنية و الأفلام القصيرة وأفلام الرسوم المتحركة الموجهة للأطفال والشباب من عمر ٠- ١٨عام.

و نشجع العروض والأفلام الملائمة للأطفال على طيف التوحد و الأطفال

ذوى الأحتياجات الخاصة للتقديم.

هذا البرنامج ممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي بالتعاون مع اتحاد المعاهد الثقافية الأوروبية في مصر

About Hakawy

Founded in 2011, Hakawy International Arts Festival for Children, is the only international arts festival for children in Egypt, is an annual festival organized by AFCA Arts Center, where  Local and international artists and companies from different art forms come together for a one-of-a-kind art experience. The festival hosts workshops, masterclasses, and exhibitions alongside the performances program to foster a creative outlet and space for both the children and artists working in the field. The festival tours different governorates across Egypt in an effort to decentralize the arts festival experience and to be easily accessible for children no matter where they are from.

عن مهرجان حكاوى

أسُس مهرجان حكاوى الدولى لفنون الطفل عام 2011 و هو المهرجان الوحيد من نوعه فى مصر، هو مهرجان سنوي ينظمه مركز أفكا للفنون، و من خلاله يجتمع فنانون مصريون و دوليون من مختلف المجالات الفنية لتجربة فنية مختلفة. ينظم المهرجان ورش العمل ولقاءات ومعارض فنية بجانب برنامج العروض الأدائية الرئيسي لتعزيز متنفس ومساحة إبداعية لكل من الأطفال والفنانين العاملين في هذا المجال. يطوف المهرجان مختلف محافظات مصر بهدف لامركزية تجربة المهرجان الفنية خارج نطاق القاهرة الكبرى و إيمانًا منا أن لكل طفل الحق فى تجربة فنية أينما كان.
